Newbie from Georgia
Howdy everyone, Thank you so much for all the valuable information that I have received from all of you. It has been invaluable in the construction of my truck, which by the way is a 1965 SWB BBW Fleetside. I found this truck on line about three years ago. It grabbed my attention because it is cardinal red and cameo white two tone. This truck was born in Ohio, found its way to Arkansaw and from there was purchased by a Chevy dealer in Michigan. It wasn't a true survivor as the engine had been replaced with a 250ci and the transmission replaced from three on the tree to a powerglide. The Chevy dealer, now retired, told me that it had never been driven in the snow and in fact, had only 1200 miles put on it in the last 32 years. After many pictures and phone calls, I bought it sight unseen. My brother and I met the gentleman half way at Elizabethtown, KY. What a jewel it turned out to be. Now after three years, it is nearing completion. My latest project is reproducing the power brake pedal pads that you may have seen on eBay. My plan is to start selling them on the forum after I become a High Octane member. Once again, thanks for all your knowledge and I hope that I can contribute to it.
