Wtb Patina Truck
So long story is Ive had many of these trucks always sold them and regretted it at some point, but recently I took over my Dads automotive business and he for 20 years or more drove a short bed 1972 to work and was the "shop truck" all my childhood. Well I'm looking for a 68-72 Shortbed close to original and has the "patina" look so I can put our logo on it and continue the tradition of the truck. I'm in Northern California and can't seem to locate one but will travel for the right one, any help would be appreciated thanks in advance if you can help me locate one

Re: Wtb Patina Truck
Now you can post in the classified section. I'd ask a moderator to move this thread into that area for you.
I too like patina trucks, that 69 from Mass looks like a good candidate

Re: Wtb Patina Truck
onecraigs.com is a somewhat tedious but good way to span the country looking for trucks (or other things for that matter). You can just type in "1971 C10" "1972 C10" et al. Autotempest.com is also good but takes more "configuration" (entering search terms to narrow down the search to year make, model, geography) and the searches go slowly.
If your budget is a little higher, many dealers advertise on www.cars-on-line.com but you are less likely to find your "barn-find" "patina" trucks on there as you are restored examples. |

Re: Wtb Patina Truck
I have been looking for a 72 Swb of any kind that wasn't over priced or rusted to pieces and have had no luck either.

Re: Wtb Patina Truck
So the perfect truck for you is a 1972, light blue with a white top, is that correct?

Re: Wtb Patina Truck
Saw this one in ND. It's got pretty nice patina. It would be a bit of a haul for you though.
