hi guys , I have a tailgate band on my 1987 that is turning white . what is the best way to polish the metal ? does it have a clear coat on it ? thanks

Butch's aluminum shine ( i believe that is what it is called) a microfiber towel or buffer and a lot of elbow grease. There shouldn't be a clear coat unless someine sprayed one on. Then put a coat of wax on it to help keep it from oxidizing again.

A lot of the trim pieces were anodized... once you remove that the trim can be polished.

My trim has been polished out...
