250 six + SM420 vs. 4,800lb truck (0-60...kinda)

I know you all like video clips and thought some of you might get a laugh (or something) out of this one.



From the description (why type all that crap again?):

Tach is obviously not working, the speedo is off, my shifting kind of sucked (I also didn't really want to try to jam it into gear as hard/fast as I could to begin with), etc.

Driveline='71 250 inline six, SM420 4 speed truck trans, and a 4.57:1 Eaton HO72 rear end with 235/85r16 tires.

The truck itself has a curb weight of something like 4,800lbs with me in it.

Should do much better with the warmed-over 454 I'm going to put in it...

Looking at the truck in the guys picture I think I see what he means. lol He needs 10 pounds of boost!
