Re: 1970-1972 grill swap

I have a 69 parts donor that I considered putting the grill from on my 71, I would think by looking at it, just the grill shell. doesn't really look any more difficult. I know the 67-68 you have to change the fenders, but not real sure on the 69-70

You will need to check on the hood release. It is different between 69-70 and 71/72. The only thing else is to figure out how you are going to run your lights, if you dont change the front bumber to a 70 w/out turn signals.

Re: 1970-1972 grill swap

I'd put fog lights in the bumper if I was doing that grille swap.
