69 C20 - 350 Smoking ???

Okay I bought this C-20 this week for a good price. Motor is smoking. Smoke is white smells like oil.... thoughts?

Usually white smoke means a blown head gasket. But most times the exhaust will smell like coolant. Check oil and coolant for signs of cross contamination.

Valve seals could be bad if it smokes when you first start it but mostly goes away after it warms up. Could be rings. Hard to say how worn motor is from the outside unless you do compression test.
