Please post your red paint jobs
My 67 was originally orange, then got an "Earl Scheib special" red along the way. It has grown on me, so id like to stick with the red. So far, i seem to be drawn to the Chevy Bolero red, but Id love to see your red trucks for ideas! Ii think Id like to keep the white top as shown in the pic as well. I know it looks kinda nice in the pic, but its a "10 footer" believe me.
Thanks! |

Re: Please post your red paint jobs
Here is a quick sketch of what I want mine to be like. I'm going to use GM's Victory Red that is on my 92 Silverado, and the white will be the same as my 07 Impala 9C1.

Re: Please post your red paint jobs
Mine started out Olive green and white. I swapped it the first time in 1989 to red. It has been painted red on the outside three times now. The first two times was called IROC red. The last time it was Viper red. The bottom three pictures are of the Viper red.
These pictures are of it when it was IROC red.

Re: Please post your red paint jobs
GM "Torch Red". I plan on adding trim to break up so much red. Really cool color but can really look orangish under certain light. I'm really happy with it.

Re: Please post your red paint jobs
My '68 was originally orange, so I didn't want to completely change directions, but wanted it a little more red. So I found this "Reptile Red" at Eastwood and I really like it.

Re: Please post your red paint jobs
I'm still in project stage, but I'm leaning towards SPI "Medium Red" for my final color.
