Re: WTB High hump tunnel & TBSS exhaust manifolds

Pretty sure I still have a BBC auto hump with no holes in the parts stash. Will look and get back with you later.

EDIT: Sorry, checked and the one I have is for a 4x4 automatic with a hole for the transfer lever.

I could do a patch if you were wanting to sell that one.

Re: WTB High hump tunnel & TBSS exhaust manifolds

Actually this was a high hump I was planning on saving as a spare for my '71 4x4 I converted from 4 spd. to auto. Getting old with arthritis in the knees sucks big time but not enjoying driving my restored '71 4x4 would suck even more. Would let it go for $100 plus shipping. Not in a big hurry to sell it, may not be worth the $100 plus ship but that's where I'm at with it. If interested at that price let me know and I will do a couple pics.

Re: WTB High hump tunnel & TBSS exhaust manifolds

Last time I bought some Trailblazer SS manifolds from the GM dealer, they were WAY less than $100 a piece! Might be worth it not to have and dick with old rusty manifolds. Just my opinion!!! Hope this helps!

Re: WTB High hump tunnel & TBSS exhaust manifolds

Looks like 1rippen6 has you covered for a high hump. I only offered mine since before I posted no one had come forward with a high hump for you. As mentioned, really don't want to get rid of it hence the high price I put on it.

When I swapped my truck from the sm465 4 spd. to the 350TH auto I had to remove the gear shift which left a hole in my replacement rubber floor mat. I covered that with a removeable metal plate cut in the shape of the gear shift trim ring. Plan is to replace the rubber floor mat AND the high hump whenever someone produces a decent original styled floor mat that is not a piece of ****. I wish I could remember the mfg. of my current replacement mat as it has held up well and looks as the original did. Been in the truck almost 8 years plus.

I've got three different options for high tunnels (each priced below) all pulled and ready for shipment, can't get you any pictures or give you a firm shipping quote until I return from the thanksgiving holiday weekend tomorrow, Tuesday 12/02. Just as an example/idea on shipping cost, I have shipped quite a few of these tall tunnel covers in the $20.-$25. range sent fedex ground insured. Mel

70 2wd SB/4spd high tunnel cover, has one shifter hole towards front. $60.
71 4wd SB/Th350 high tunnel cover, has one shifter hole towards rear offset to right. $85.
68 2wd BBC/Th400 high tunnel cover, this one has NO shifter holes. $100.

Re: WTB High hump tunnel & TBSS exhaust manifolds

1rippen6 I'll take it. A pic would be nice. Shipping zip is 74447. Just let me know how much with shipping. Do you have a Paypal? PM me the info and I will send the money. I appreciate it!

Yeah Ironhorse I appreciated that offer but won't do that to you. But I really appreciate that.

GM parts direct has the manifolds for $103 plus $20 shipping but one side is out of stock and back ordered with no estimated date!! What are the odds of finding a set laying in stock somewhere at some dealership??? Are there any dealerships out there that do a lot of parts for the LS guys that anybody knows about?

Thanks again everybody!

I have a one set of each of these. I plan to sell whichever set I do not use. I am hoping to have my LS swap test fit in the next few weeks. If you are not in a hurry, let me know if you are interested.

Re: WTB High hump tunnel & TBSS exhaust manifolds

I bought the brown one. It arrived last Monday in good shape. Thanks buddy!
Mel has a few high humps for sale too. (Classic Bowties)
I am for sure using the TBSS manifolds. I've been patiently waiting for a set for 3-4 months. I just got lucky and found a guy on Craigslist that was selling a few TBSS parts so I called and asked about some manifolds. GM has backordered both manifolds with no estimated date of arrival. Gmpartsdirect has one side in stock.
There's a salvage in the NE that has parts for sale on Ebay. He had some 5.3 Trailblazer EXT manifolds complete for around $125 shipped. When I contacted them he said he would do $100 shipped. ?? If interested I can find the link for you.

Re: WTB High hump tunnel & TBSS exhaust manifolds

Does anyone have a high hump available for sale for the later 4x4s that used the 205 transfer case? My 221 died and I'm upgrading. Would rather not do a patch.
Thanks!
