I just went down to ship wheels..well, I THOUGHT they were only 45lbs...they turned out to be 78lbs!!

So, shipping for a standard set of wheels = $150! :Eek:
If I could beat my head on a wall right now, I would.

Maybe you should either package different or try a different company. I used fed ex a couple months ago and only paid $72

yes - fed-ex rawks. also never go to mailboxes etc/the UPS Store. That is a rip.

I WENT to Fed-Ex..used they're GROUND service..each wheel was 78lbs..they charged $40 a wheel.

Are you talking about your 212's? If so those wheels only weigh 25lbs each and I don't see a tire weighing 53lbs.

I got rims from a member in WA. some time ago. They came UPS and cost me $20 a wheel.

It was my 32x11½x15 tires mounted on a pair of 15x8" rims. I GUESSTIMATED they were about 50lbs..but they're near 80lb's!

No, I used the CHEAPEST fed-ex shipping method possible. They went from CA to OK.

your shipping steel wheels and big tires so yeah they are heavy and its not cheap. i shipped 4 wheels and tires (50 lbs a piece) from texas to minnasota for about 80 bucks, fed ex ground.

My 20 with 305/50/20 tire weighs 80 lbs right on the money. That's alot of tire you have there too. That's about right on the price.

DAYUM!! Ishipped my stock T/A Wheels/tires ****WITH AIR**** to indiana from OK and it was only 58 bux using FED EX ground. Again!! That is WITH AIR in them!!
