Rare to see one of these without a rusted out cab nowadays. I really liked these trucks, up until 1974 there were many different versions, diesels, tandems, and some really big 9500 series with 6V-71's in them. From 1975 on they were only offered as gas powered single rear axle mediums, usually with 350's or 366's. Last year they were offered was 1980. I thought it was funny they stopped when they did, the truck could have probably gone a few more years with the 8.2L Detroit. There were replaced by the larger Isuzu's.

I didn't realize they were made through '80. I always like them, too, and thought it was cool they were "kept on" into the '70s.
