Christmas tree ornaments

I know it's probably been done and posted on here. I did a search but didn't find anything so here it goes.

Every year or so my wifey has purchased a Hallmark vehicle Christmas tree ornament for me. I have a couple Corvettes, Chevy Truck and an SSR.

I thought I'd just make a couple of my own.

I found a couple Hot Wheels of vehicles I've owned today. So, get out the Dremel and a 1/16" closed hook eye that I have and presto....

85 CRX...Had mine until 5 years ago. Couldn't resist the lowrider 61

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Christmas tree ornaments

flashed: I got the hooks at Home Depot. They are a little too long. A 1/16" bit worked great. I threaded in the eyelet. Then turned it back out. Then clipped off some of the threads. Left only 2 or 3.

Re: Christmas tree ornaments

My grandmother started buying the hallmark ornaments for me when I was a little boy, I have one from every year 1988 to present day. I'll post pics tomorrow of the whole collection.

Re: Christmas tree ornaments

I'd make them of all my previous vehicles but our tree is not big enough. I could put LEDs in them and hang them on the gutters out front
