Mixing Suspension Parts (Hotchkis Springs)
Has anyone ran in to problems mixing suspension parts? I am getting a set of springs for the rear and possibly down the road mixing in PB or No Limit parts.

Re: Mixing Suspension Parts (Hotchkis Springs)
All of our components are designed to work with our components or factory based units. As long as the other manufactures use those same constraints, it should work out, however you're going to be dabbling into the realm of Hot-Rodding and "making it work."
What components were you planning on mixing? We offer just about every piece for completely updating your suspension. |

Re: Mixing Suspension Parts (Hotchkis Springs)
Mixing suppliers you're going to have some interference. But like Dan said, nothing that can't be solved. The PB notch kit interferes with the NoLimit panhard bar mount (do a search, this has been discussed and there is a work around) The PB trailing arms don't work very well with the NoLimit shock relocation brackets. The lower shock brackets bolt on with u-bolts and won't work with the PB u-bolt setup. I just received my trailing arms yesterday so I haven't had a chance to get a good look a figure a work around. I'm thinking it may involve welding the lower shock bracket directly onto the trailing arm. I haven't even looked at the panhard bar mount. How this mishmash of suppliers actually works on the street, I'm a long way off from that.

The springs arrived today. The truck has ECE 3" maybe 4" rear kit (not sure) from the previous owner. So I will be mixing Hotchkis springs in with a ECE kit. I am hoping the Hotchkis springs will give the truck a level stance and improve the handling. |

Which of our front springs did you get? Ours range from 3-4" front drop. To "level" the truck we run a 6" drop in the rear. You may have a slight rake, but with bigs and littles it may look really *****in.

Re: Mixing Suspension Parts (Hotchkis Springs)
Sorry about the delayed response. We use a longer adjustable track bar to positively locate the rear axle and accommodate various different ride heights. It works REALLY well and keeps the rear axle from laterally shifting under hard loads.
