I have a question for everyone?

I have a single window50 chevy truck(see build "Frankenstine")
I have come up with a set of windows with the wing windows.
My question is can the wing window set up be fitted in to the non wing window doors?
Will look at this more tomorrow.
I also came up with the glove box n speaker cover. Will have to strip off the old paint then clean n repaint both items.

the track that comes down the wing window ( about a foot) has a bolt that goes through a mount on the inside of the door to hold the track.
This I doubt will be in your doors.... you will need to open the door and weld in a bracket

Is that the bracket that the window rest on when rolled down.

I'm thinking about using a power window set out of the newer chevy truck.

I got the whole window system for both side.
Just had to take the gauges out of the dash for the person.
He told me that he most likely will have some extra parts for me later on when he get the two trucks he is working on all set up.

Why mess up a set of good doors to put wing windows in them when there are probably 20 guys within an hours driving distance who would trade you the doors that those work in straight across. If you were closer I'd give you your pick of any pair of 51/53 doors I have for those doors.

So I would be better off to keep the full windows then switch to the vented windows !

The one good thing is that I did get a good rear window along with the deal.
Have you ever seen what looks like a small set of wind defectors on the older trucks?
I will try to set a pic today ,so you can see what I'm asking about.

I also got the possible chance to get some extra body parts when all is said n done.

I agree you can find someone who will switch doors with you.
But if you want to go that route the electrics you have might work, however you still will need a way to secure the track on the wing side.
