"Woodson" - New to me 1977 Silverado C10
I just bought this 1977 C10 and had it shipped from Arizona. It was originally built by Robert Yezzi a while back and I've been wanting it every since the first time I saw it on Joe Yezzi's Instagram page (squarebodysyndicate). Long story short, the stars all aligned and I was able to purchase the truck and have it shipped here to Dallas, guess you can call it an early Christmas gift to myself.
Robert named the truck "Woodson" so that what I will continue to call it! Few specs I can think of off the top of my head... - new crate 350 - Muncie 4 speed trans with Hurst shifter - Kenwood & Rockford Fosgate stereo system - old school side pipes - new AC system - lowered 4.5" in front (McGaughy's drop spindles, 2" drop springs) - flip kit in rear (no c-notch, no shackles) - 15x8 turbine wheels (255/60/15 front, 295/60/15 rear) Future Plans: - I have a 5.3 LS and 4l60E trans from a 2008 Silverado Crew Cab waiting to be installed - redo the interior (new carpet, door panels, dash pad, headliner, and correct 1977 dash bezel) In the mean time, just going to drive it and enjoy it! Pics while still in Phoenix... background may look familiar . It's been raining so much, I really haven't had a chance to take any new exterior pics since it arrived here in Dallas. Rest are pics of the day it arrived, got it unloaded, washed off all the bugs from the trip, and finally parked at home in my garage.

What you don't see is the pics of Mike screaming like a girl when the truck arrived. It is even cooler in person than the pics suggest.

Re: "Woodson" - New to me 1977 Silverado C10
.........Im back......hands washed......but seriously its a textbook example of a very nice truck......but my curiosity has gotten me and I need an answer.......I see that it is a dual tank truck and I think I can see the tank switch on the lower dash like my 87 GMC......so did the 77 models have that switch from the factory, was it a different one, or did the previous owner do a custom install for that.....I love these trucks because Im still learning more and more about them......thanks......

The dual tank switch to the left of the ashtray is original.

First dibs on the interior panels you're planning to replace. Drooling here...

I really didn't care for the black bumpers either, but once the truck arrived and I saw it in person I totally changed my mind. Now I absolutely love the black bumpers, fits the whole 70's theme of the truck and gives it a sinister "I don't give a damn" look lol

Also, the monochromatic bumpers was more a mid 80's more than a 70's thing. Looks awesome!

Re: "Woodson" - New to me 1977 Silverado C10
the wood is vinyl. good friend of mine is doing the swap for me. I've been buying the needed parts for the swap over the past year, I was getting ready to put the LS in my 87 but I sold it and bought this 77. Now I have a few more lil things to buy to make it work with the 77
