Keyway Pulley Puller Tool

Hi all!

Thank you in advance. I'm stuck. My power steering pump went bad. I am looking to buy the right tool for a keyway power steering pump pulley for my 1971 Chevy C20 350. I previously used a generic pulley puller but I could not get my pulley back on with the generic tool. The manual calls for special tools. I do not have the manual in front of me, but I can post a pic of the tool specs later when I get home.

I've attached a pic of the pulley.

Re: Keyway Pulley Puller Tool

Harbor freight carries it too. You need this instead of a three jaw puller

Re: Keyway Pulley Puller Tool

The style that uses the nut is not a press fit but if it's been on there a while you may need a puller to remove it. After you get it off put some never seize on the shaft and you should be able to remove it by hand after that.
