Lightbulb What you got?

What kind of head lights are you running and why. I have been giving mine some thought lately and was wondering what everyone else has and does to keep them in good working order. I read all this stuff about H-4, LED and I'm Hid's. Ive been thinking about buying some projection headlights but haven't found anything I think better than what I have.
I just aimed mine the other week after one of my adjusters feel out. I almost bought a set of aimer's off Ebay but decided not to. I aimed them by sight and a wall.

I run these and well I'm pleased with them I would like to know if there is something else I could use that is better. I have my own relay wiring installed per the Mad electric website. If you haven't upgraded your truck's lights to the relays you really should. It's not that hard and it's not that expensive to do it. It's day and night difference.
The picture of the bulbs are the ones I run on the right. the other one is one I took out of my daughters old Eclipse and swaped out to the same thing I run.
Here is a couple of pictures of mine.

My truck is a driver and when I say this I mean a driver. I have been on the last 2 HRPT and put over 7000 miles on my truck in a little over 2 weeks + what I drive it the rest of the year. So having good lights is a must for me. I work swing shift also so I drive to and from work a lot in the dark.
So lets see what you have and what your planning on doing for head lights.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: What you got?

I have H4s, but I've never driven in the dark to see how good the work.... I agree with you about running relay wiring...easy to install. I also hooked up day-time running lights.

Re: What you got?

I run halogens. I like them because they are a huge improvement over Power Beams, yet look the same and I can see just fine. I rarely ever use hi-beams as it is.

Question Re: What you got?

Does anyone have any projection headlights that they are using, if so how do you like them?

Re: What you got?

I have the Hella H4 conversion lights in my '69 short and at least 3 jeeps. This is a great update giving you the ability to replace bulbs and the flat glass lens is excellent. Will be putting the 135mm in my Jimmy soon. They are not DOT but I can live with that.
