Seat cover

Has anybody recovered their seat in the black vinyl and silver velour cover from either Brothers or LMC? I haven't had any luck with search or Google.

Re: Seat cover

I had a local upholster give me a qute of $350, I have seen a lot of his work, and for this price vs $250 for a cover I will have him re do it.

Re: Seat cover

The upholstery shops around here want $500 for basic black vinyl and $825 for stock style with 3" piping.

Re: Seat cover

I would shop around locally. I got my seat rebuilt with new foam and factory looking upholstery by a local upholsterer for about $250. Tucson is 6th worst poverty level is U. S., but still - somebody will want your business - try a smaller town.

Re: Seat cover

I'll try a few more places outside the city to see if I can get a better price. If not I'll just get a cover from Brothers or LMC.

Re: Seat cover

At least do a google search and check Amazon and Ebay. Ask upholsterers if you get the fabric what they would want for the labor. Factory fabric is still available aftermarket.
