Clutch linkages

1974 c10
The truck came in as a frame only no cab. I put on a cab I had here and converted it from an automatic cab (well it had the automatic brake pedal and mount on it when I got it , but there was a hole in the floor that would work for the clutch pushrod)
So I went on ebay and bought what appears to be a 73-80 brake/clutch pedal assembly. There is a stud atop the mount as well as one on the clutch pedal. There are two kind of eye things and a spring that go in between those studs which it took forever, but I finally got the spring on there. I also found the rod that goes between the Z bar and the clutch pedal. When I put the clutch in it slams against the floorboard and does not return unless I pull it up manually..
Is there another spring I am missing or something and if so where does it go? pics? Are there springs on the Z bar?
Any help or diagrams and part numbers would be great Thank you !

Re: Clutch linkages

There are 2 springs. The one you put in and two outside the truck between frame and the shaft assembly, and the push rod return spring.
