Re: New from the Netherlands
Hey Ed,
So how did you acquire your ride? Did you purchase it in Holland or did you have it imported? Aren't these trucks hard to come by in Holland/Europe? I am sure the truck will be getting a lot of attention and compliments when you start cruising in it. |

Re: New from the Netherlands
I think its mine for about 9 years, trade it for a Chevrolet Caprice boxy.
There are not many stepsides here, not where I live. Never have seen onemfrom 69. For me its like a adiction, sold my Dodge Coronet 1969 for 3 weeks ago, stil in pain Its now in the garage dry and of the street. When the winter is over I drive it a lot. My daily workhorse is a Dodge Ram Pick Up. No euro or korean wheels for me. The biggest surpice is the tumbs up from older people. Gas is expensive and the parts we must buy in the states. No junkyards and the nuts and bolds we buy from a shop agricultior machines. They have John Deer and te nuts and bold fit al the bolds and nuts here are metric, you can't find them here. |

Re: New from the Netherlands
Reminds me when I lived in Aruba. You work with what you had. Ordering parts for these trucks (or any other car or equipment) took a long time to get and it would cost a lot of $$$ in shipping and customs as most parts store would not have them. And even if they did, it would EXPENSIVE. I remember paying for a normal ignition coil like $60-80 while they can purchased here for $20.
And when you placed an order it would take a few months to receive. And don't expect expedited shipping to arrive within 4 weeks, lol. |
