Rear bumper brackets on 56 truck

Hello all,

Does anybody have pics, or can you take pics, of where the rear bumper brackets are located? The previous owner welded a custom bumper and I'm installing chrome bumpers and got new brackets but don't see original holes where new brackets bolt up to. Thanks a lot.

I would bolt the bumper brackets on bumper and move them in as much as possible and drill some new holes in frame. I am planning on doing that to mine I think they stick out to far I might shorten the ends of rear bumper mine is stock painted original.

Capnduane,

Thanks a lot for pics. Do you, or anyone else, also have pics of brackets attached to bumper? I got new brackets and im not sure if they are the correct orientation. They are uneven when bolted to bumper and think it would be uneven on truck. I didnt get to bolt up to frame as it is cold as $hit now and I probably need another hand to mark holes on frame..

Thanks for all the help.
