Tire size question

What is the largest tie i can fit in a 2002 2500hd duramax stock suspension with a leveling kit. I have 285's on the stock wheels and they just barely rub when at full lock, i have a set of ion alloy 16x8's that i was looking for a set of bfg all terrains for, i like the look of a wide tire, would i be able to clear a 32' or 33'? And how wide? I dont mind how much the 285's rub right now, so a little bit is fine but nothing serious. Thanks

Re: Tire size question

I had Weld Velocity's on my 05 2500hd 285/something/18 They were BFG AT's, want to say 65 series, maybe 60. They were big and rubbed bad until I trimmed/tied back the fender liner and the below bumper spoiler.
