Overland Tahoe or Yukon
I’ve been playing with the idea of making an overland off road toy slash daily driver. Find a Tahoe or Yukon in the 2000 to 2005 years and convert the ½ ton axles over to the ¾ ton ones from a salvaged truck. Add a 6” lift, roof rack, light bars winch bumpers and bumper mounted full size spare and jerry cans. Sound crazy or not???

Re: Overland Tahoe or Yukon
I am no sure if it matters on this body style or not but on the previous the front differential mounts differently and cutting and welding on the frame to mount the housing in the front

Re: Overland Tahoe or Yukon
Also back to the previous body style, if you found one from a 1ton it is likely that it was an E- locker front diff.
