Talking Chevy C50 Owner

Hello All,

I have Just joined this great place, and am saying how I had a C50 Truck,

shortened her to the chassis rails, so I could drive into quick food drive through,

and park in normal parking places, by reversing to pathway park places.

Am now about to buy a C60, and do the same, but do a Sports Truck look,

with the alloy rims somehow, and lowering her too.

Re: Chevy C50 Owner

Well,

I came on here thinking this place is the most advertised place to join,

and share experiences, but instead is very silent.

I must look for another site that has C50 people. Regards Dave I

Re: Chevy C50 Owner

Give us a chance. There are lots of 50-60 owners here. We will of course need some pics. We LOVE pics. I know one owner that has done one and is working on another here in Florida. His screen name is Colgad.
Do a search and you will find them.

Great Man JJ,

I will dig some pictures up and post, I never been on a Chev Forum before,

and am getting happy I did. Dave I

Edit:-

I also like how we are higher than Jacked up normal 4 x 4's are here in Australia.

But Yeah, when I lower Her to the new cool look, we will be compromising, hmm?

Re: Chevy C50 Owner

Since I saw Dave's C50 I want to do one with a lowered chassis with super singles and a 572ci Chevy and one of those GMC trannies with tons of gears. A real different truck for sure. I have wanted to do something like this since I was a teenager but never had the money. Still don't have it but We only live once so I better find it soon.

Re: Chevy C50 Owner

Hmm,

My other Picture of the C50 disappeared.

How can I load up a Picture here from the Computer, or do I have to have a URL?

Re: Chevy C50 Owner

OK Folks,

I went for a Drive to see the Chevy C60 today,

and see the VIN Plate having all the numbers and letters as they should be, Happy Now.

Took her for a spin, and now realize I need to change the carby, as she idles well,

but does not drive the revs.

So is there a manifold to have a 500 Holley instead, or something?

Then I can drive her home 100miles away.
