Torque converter stall ok size with this cam?

Here is the converter specs

Stall Speed: 2300-2700 RPM

Here is my setup 355, 9.5:1 cpr, 670 street avenger, rpm air gap, promaxx vortex heads, Howards cam, long tube headers.
The truck is a 72 lwb Cheyenne super with th350. Car is a weekend ride, occasionally driven on the street, car shows etc.

Is that stall speed in the range? I was thinking it would be OK, if not maybe something in the 2200-2400 range?

It will work, but a 10" 3500 rpm stall would be best with that cam performance wise. Second would be an 11" 2800 rpm converter. I had a TCI 2800 rpm stall 11" with a 228 at .050 cam and even with 4.10 gears it wanted a little more stall. (331 ci motor though, but 3200# car). And cam was on 110 degree lobe centers, so power a little lower down.

3500 stall? Wow I wouiodnt think I would need that big. Again this is no strip truck. Just lighting the tires on the street when need to, and the occasional cruise
But if that is warranted then I guess I will look into those

I would think 2800 would be a good choice for that cam. Comp Cams recommends a 2500 minimal stall for there 230/236 cam I am going to be using in my truck.

Yea the more I read into it I'm thinking 2500? Increasing engine power has the same effect as decreasing vehicle weight. Since I'm coming from stock 882 heads, stock motor basically I would think it would average out to be in the mid 2000's 2500 or so.
Thoughts?

If your truck is still stock weight expect that stall to operate in its upper range, and should be find for the combination you have.
