Quadrajet 7042210 problem

Need some help with a quadrajet 4mv 7042210, just had the carb rebuilt idles great @ 700 rpm ,when you raise rpm up to 1400 or higher it wants to start running rough and will die but if you keep moving the accelerator pump the rpm will rise with no problem.

When engine starts to stumble you can close the choke a 1/8" and will clear up ,
I have check divorce choke adjustment , rod is at the level with the arm slot.
Engine has 18in of vacuum , will drop to 13" when you reach 1400rpm

Engine specs
New gm crate 350
Stock manifold
Stock exhaust manifolds
Points distributor
New plugs,wires, cap,rotor,fuel pump.

Any help would be great .
