72 Vent windows on 67 doors?
Will complete vent window assemblies from a 72 fit into 67 doors? I could potentially get a nice pair but don't know if they'll fit. I know there are some differences.

Re: 72 Vent windows on 67 doors?
The only difference that I am aware of is in the glass. 67-8 glass does not have holes for the handles, 69-72 has holes for handles. The frames are the same.

Re: 72 Vent windows on 67 doors?
72 used a screw that went through the top front side of the doors to secure the vent window post from raddling, something like that , 72 only , and also only year door with that hole using the screw. I do believe 72 will work on your 67. 67 was a one year only vent in which there was no hole in the glass for the locking lever to go through. Maybe some in the beginning of 68 I'm not sure .

Just for clarity for the people that are reading this, the screw didn't actually go through the vent window assembly it just secured the inner and outer door halves together..... The '67 and '72 should interchange with no problem. LockDoc

Thanks for the information guys. I found a nice pair of chrome '72's with good chrome and rubber for $75. Seems to be a good deal as long as the guy is right.

Thanks on that LockDoc, I was going on info I heard year's back but, did it have something to do with raddling. Learn something well, in this case, newer everyday . Sorry for crashing your page. Hope your vents work out good.
