pics of my new truck 1972 K20 rust free cali truck

thought I would share some pics of my K20 that I purchased from a member here. It is a California truck with original paint and loaded with options.
Chime in with a value I know i "paid up" for the truck but I wanted an unmolested hubcap truck with a/c tilt etc.

Awesome!

Join up with the Upstate SC GM Truck Club. We have a meet at twin peaks this Saturday at noon. We just get together around noon, hang out, look at trucks, and some people go in, eat, hang out. We move around where we go each month so join the facebook page to see where we're at if you haven't already! We have anywhere from 20-30 trucks show up at most meets.

Nice truck! I think you can never pay "too much" for a good original classic vehicle as the value will catch up soon or later. What really matters is if you are happy what you paid for it.

Are those the original wheels? I've been looking for something correct for my C/K10 Shortbed and want to get rid of those 70s rally rims that are on it. Great looking truck.

Re: pics of my new truck 1972 K20 rust free cali truck

Thanks for the compliments. Probably gonna paint the white for now and dull it down so it's not as obvious and fix the one small dent behind the ps rear tire and drive it as is. I've got my 72 K10 in a 1000 pcs doing a frame off and don't want to have 2 of them apart right now.

No it did not and a little leery after seeing additional pics of undercoating lol. Might be a super nice truck but with no a/c tilt etcetc I would rather start with an unmolested truck and do it myself.

Nice truck and even better you bought it in the Upstate of SC. These things we all love are getting very hard to find in that condition. I would bet you paid in the $15,000- $20,000 range for it.

I also would like to invite you to join our Upstate of SC GM truck group. You need to join us Saturday 1-10-15 at noon at Twin Peaks in Greenville SC.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Not that it matters what I think - but I think you definitely made the right choice. Great lookin truck. Someone else will grab that bronze super and run with it, and they'll be happy too.
