Came across this on CL, don't think I've ever seen one this short before. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/4835884290.html

Yeah, that's an old Mobile Home "Toter".
I believe a Short Bed Pick-up Bed would be too long for it. May look OK with some kind of Flatbed, but someone may want to just keep using it as a Toter or maybe even a Wrecker. Bill

No question, it's a 'toter'. Not good for much else unless you stretch the frame.

Wouldn't be any good for a wrecker. Too short. The problem with wreckers, the weight pivot point is behind the rear axle. The longer the wheelbase, the more weight you can lift.

Re: 105"wb 1962 c50
Bill,
I never said anything about the Front Wheels staying on the ground, lol. (only kidding) Maybe it could haul cars with no problems though ?? Actually, it looks like one of our new members bought it. He has posted it at the "BIG truck forum C/40, C/50, C/60 and the like" thread, here on the Heavy Haulers forum. Co-incidently, he is calling it a "Wrecker". Bill
