swb frame
got a chance to get a 1968 swb frame. complete roller with all suspension. don't know what to offer . man is asking $400 but will probably take less. any ideas before its gone?

71-2 usually go for $500, drum frames are about $400. I sell them for that and if the front end is rebuilt the price goes up. If it has posi the price goes up too. Good luck! I'd offer $350 if the seller is trying to clean things out. You have to tote the line between being reasonable and disrespectful. If it's in good shape pay asking price.
Make sure you inspect the crossmember over the axel. There is an area where 3 layers of frame come together on the side and they often laminate (separate due to rust) it never gets better either. Hope I helped!
