clutch problem need help!

Ok guys this is a non 67-72 question but here goes. I have a 1994 S-10 with manual transmission and for a while now it squeecks when I let the clutch out after changing gears. Wasn't a real big problem I didn't think until today. I released the clutch and the truck didn't move. When I went to push the clutch back in it was unusually easy to depress, after pushing in and letting back up a few times it popped into gear. What is the deal? How do I fix this? Thanks in advance.

Eric

Sounds like either your clutch master or the slave cylinder is going out. Look underneth your dash ( inside) where the push rod goes into the master. Notice any wet spots or fluid leaking? Also, check underneth the truck. Is the slave wet with fluid? Is the resevoir empty? If all checks out, I would say that maybe the throw out bearing is getting ready to go, or one of the springs on the disc has poped out. Kind of hard to diagnose without driving the truck though. It could be a number of things that would do what you described. Good luck.
