Dan's Pickup

Doggone it! I'm tired of waiting. I guess I can blame myself for not teaching him how to post pictures yet. I admit, I procrastinate (Y'all know that word, right? Means puts things off...and puts things off...and puts...). Well, do you all know about Dan's 4-53 powered GMC 3500 pickup? I first saw it at a local ATHS chapter's spring show, 10 or more years ago. That means he drove it from Ohio to the show in Maryland. We know it runs. I started this thread because I just stubbled on the one and only picture I took, which was before my computer or digital camera days. I guess I scanned it too small, but here it is. and, I am going to walk Dan through the picture posting process very very soon (promise). I guess I'll have to now that I posted this...and probably why I did it. No more procrastinating, starting next week!

Re: Dan's Pickup

Tim,

Thanks for posting that. I never did get a chance to see his Detroit powered Pick-up. I'll be looking forward to see more of them.

Re: Dan's Pickup

Well, we're not going to be hearing from Dan anytime real soon. I just read on the other truck board that he recently fell and broke his leg.

They say he is presently in the hospital and hopefully he will be back on the boards once he is able to get back to his computer.

Here's hoping Dan has a quick recovery.

Re: Dan's Pickup

I'm really sorry to hear this. Poor guy, this is rough! He just got done with hip surgery in November. Damn. Thanks for telling us. I'll drop him a line

Re: Dan's Pickup

Just released from nursing home today from 2 hip surgeries on Nov 12 and January 14th due to a fall off a step stool in our living room . The computer in the nursing home wasn't too cooperative , but I owe Tim some better pics. As posted on another thread, I'll be at the York ATHS show, hopefully with this 30 year old conversion .

Re: Dan's Pickup

I/we need to walk you through this whole picture process. If you have pictures on your computer we can tell you how to get them here. Your truck will be a big hit.
