Has any one bought one of these "Improved" sending unit floats ? Located this one on eBay today. Real tired of not having a properly working fuel gauge ?

Haven't used that one. Tried repairing my old one a couple times and finally replaced it with a plastic one. Fuel gauge has worked awesome since.

It's been a while, but I seem to recall that it was a Jeep factory float, same shape and size as in our trucks, snapped right in! I bet if you do a search you'll find it.

Re: "NEW" Improved Brass Sending Unit Float ?

Sorry but how is this improved? Is it because of the polyurethane body? I am not sure what part of mine in my newly acquired C10 is malfunctioning, but it is erratic and stays mainly near the empty mark even with a full tank. From what my understand, if you keep your tank empty most of the time, rusts will accumulate on the sending unit and causes bad reading.
