wtb t350 for a 4x4
i need t350 for a 4x4 in good working order..

I have a core for $100 or rebuilt for $350 plus ride.

Is there something unique about the 4x4 turbo350 verses a 2x4 turbo 350?? Can't you pull the tailshaft and bolt it up to the transfer case with the appropriate adapter? I know where you can get a good running turbo350 2x4 pretty cheep. In fact I know wher you can get 3 of them!!!

Output is a lot shorter.Other than that, the case itself may be heavier, I know a k case 400 is heavier than a car, but it will still work. Not 100% sure on t350's. Anyone else?

The "K" case is a thicker aluminum and has with an aluminun flywheel cover. I believe the "K" case started in the mid 70's. A lot of rebuilt transmissions are 2wd cases with the 4wd output shaft.
