Whats 1969 c-10 4x4 Step-side worth?
I have a contact at the DNR that has a 1969 c-10 4x4 short bed step-side that might be for sale. No rust with 12,000 miles on it, I believe it is a manual V8. The truck has some DNR accessories (light, siren, etc) that were added to it 1969. Interior is all original. Paint is green and white for DNR. I haven't officially seen the truck but apparently looks really nice.. ding and scraps from normal use.
What she worth? I am just looking for opinions. |

Re: Whats 1969 c-10 4x4 Step-side worth?
I'd guess between $4k to $6k. Lack of rust is a very important consideration in determining the value. The '69 and earlier would've had the closed knuckle with drum brake front axle and the Rockwell transfer case. That combo tends to be less sought after and less valuable than the '71 and '72 which had the open knuckle with disc brakes and 205 transfer case.

Landy.. thanks for the great information. I am just starting my search for my first c10... I would prefer 4x4, but I know that pushes up the price.

Yeah, the 4x4s do tend to be worth more. Check out Ebay as they do come up for sale occasionally. FWIW, I was following a '69 Chevy shortbed stepside 4x4 with manual trans that just sold today for $4.1k.
Truck may have been in reasonable shape, but the seller wasn't very forthcoming or responsive with more detailed/additional pics or info. Good luck in your search! |
