chasis help

Can a 64-65 truck cab and front end bolt up to a 62 truck chasis frame, or will it have to be modified.

Any advice would help out.

Thanks

Re: chasis help

the rear cab mount bolts will line up, the front braces are in the right place, but you will have to drill a new hole for the mount . the 65 has a piece on the frame that cradles the radiator. the 62 does not. the 62 radiator is bolted to the core support on the sides.
if you are going to use standard shift you will probably need to switch to a hydraulic clutch, 60-62 did not have a provision for a mechanical clutch.

this picture shows the opposite a 60-62 cab, a 63-66 frame , but it shows where the hole needs to be for the early frame,
