Manuel to Auto

Hello, i have a 1971 c10 that i am removing the Manuel steering column and putting in a auto being i put a 200r4 behind my 5.3 anything special doing this?

Any reason for the 200r4 and not a 4l60 or 4l80?Are you going to use a oem steering column or going aftermarket?

Only thing i can think of is the shifter linkage,You will have to rig something up or buy something like this http://www.shiftworks.com/kugel.htm or same thing from lokar.

Now getting the trans to bolt up to the 5.3 can be done but takes a spacer.I can give you a link to the info if you need that.

i already have everything mounted in i just gotta figure out how to wire the lockup on the 200r4 do you know of any instructions on removing old column and installing new? i have a chilton and hanes and looked online i just don't wanna mess it up lol.
