That is a door off of a three ton.
The door is notched for clearance for the running board step

It could be off of anything C-40 or bigger.
Interesting thing though, not all the bigger trucks had the cut out...front ends were not all the same. |

I see these alot in the junkyards around me. They are definetly from the bigger trucks. I've seen many old Yuengling beer deliver trucks like this. (that's the beer made here in Pottsville, Pa)
One nice thing is they are usually in good shape because they sit up so high and the running board protects them.

Yes like everyone said, big trucks and usually in good condition. I've seen quite a few of them around here too.

The big truck doors are the same as the pickups. The corners are cut off. A new corner can be fabricated and installed very easily.

big big trucks, and it sucks cause I've seen more of those style doors in great shape than ones for our trucks!

It's got me thinking too! How many of these did I pass on? I think im going to nab any that are in good condition from now on. Welding on a corner should be a piece of cake.

Ya never want to leave any stone unturned! LOL!
I always check those big trucks, C-40 and up. The doors will work on pickups with a new corner. Look for factory tachs, and look at ALL 1972 C-40, C-60 trucks! Somebody once told me they wanted RED interior in their '72 pickup, but RED wasn't a factory color in "72 (in pickups) So I pulled out a NICE pair of FACTORY RED '72 door panels, and the guys jaw dropped!! RED WAS AVAILABLE IN '72............just in C-50's, C-60's!!! Got'em from a '72 C-60 tanker truck......With Custom option and factory A/C!! Nice old truck! Mike

I had a C60 dump and it had the notches in the corner... and a red interior.
