Help with overdrive unit
I have had this overdrive unit and have never been able to find out much about it. Is anyone familiar with this particular overdrive? I was told it would bolt up to a turbo 400. Thanks

Re: Help with overdrive unit
http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/amer...se-295274.html, looks like your not the only one. Kinda sucks that the company went out of business. Saw a couple threads that some had bad bearings, some didn't, apparently they use gm trans parts internally and there are no wiring schematics available for them.

Re: Help with overdrive unit
Yes, I know there are others around. I was able to find a pdf file of the installation instructions. I have not printed it out so I don't know if it has the wiring specifics. I wonder if most any transmission shop could check this out?

Re: Help with overdrive unit
I'd bet a decent tranny shop would know exactly what they're looking at, and if you're planning in running it, peace of mind is worth getting an opinion.
Keep us posted. I've seen one of these on CL, and wondered about it. |
