4/6 drop questions??
i was thinking of installing a 4/6 drop kit from early classic enterprises. is this a good idea, or will my truck scrape over a lot of things. i am also going to e runnning hooker super comps. if that makes a difference in clearance issues and what not. thanks for the help in advance.

hooker super comps drop below your frame about 4"....
Personally I'd never lower a truck......If you want the lowered look get some large rimes with low profile tires.....besides seams to be the "thing" lately. just my $.02

You should not have a problem. Most guys go for the shorty headers. there are quite a few on the market now that fit our trucks like a glove.

I'm running a 4-6 drop, And headers.. I was concerned at first, And before I took it down the road, I was going to raise it to 2-4"drop, but the my daughter noticed it was no lower then her rice grinder, (2002 Eclipse). the only problem I have had is loading it on a trailer, I have to find a small hill to load and unload it on, The headers do hit going on the trailer. I will go to a set of "shorty" headers in the future.
It has given it a totally different good feeling going down the road, After doing it, I have absolutely no reservations,or regrets. I went 2" belltech spindles, and 2"springs, The rear is a flip kit and "C" section. If you do the 4"-6" drop this way and don't like it, all you have to do is change the springs out and cut two inches out of the rear end spacer blocks. Ron |

4/6 Drop
This is the Early Classic 4/6 drop on my 69. I have had very good luck with ECE. I have the wrong wheel offset and have a little tire rub but that will be fixed soon. No regrets
