63 cab on a 69 frame?
Will the 63-66 cab mounts line up to a 67-72 frame with no modifications? I'm new to the 60-66 trucks. I believe the 60-62 cab mount positions are different, correct?
Thanks, Wade |

Re: 63 cab on a 69 frame?
You will need to change the rear cab mount brackets on the frame and also the radiator support mounts. Then the frame horns will not allow the use of a '63-'66 bumper. Also the radiator support crossmember will need to be added. Otherwise the '67-'72 frames are quite similar to the '63-'66 frames. These are a much better fit than the '73-'87 or '88-'98 frames as some try to use. If you do swap frames, be sure to check with your local DMV and see what it takes to make the frame swap legal in your state.

Re: 63 cab on a 69 frame?
Thank you for the reply. I thought they'd be a little easier than that, but great info on my options.
Thanks again, Wade |
