What's wrong with my power steering???

I just upgraded from manual to power steering. I bought a refurb pump from the parts store and a gearbox from a site member. Also used an Alan Grove PS pump bracket - very cool! My pulleys seem to line up well and no leaks.

Here is the problem... when we fired it up tonight (after turning wheel to wheel 4 times to purge air from the system) it was somewhat difficult to turn right. Turning left was very easy but there was also a chattering sound coming from somewhere in the engine bay.

What could be causing this?
Thanks

It is not bled yet. Jack up front to get both tires off ground, turn wheels slowly from lock to lock ten times or so with the cap off the pump to get the air trapped in system out.

Yup. Burp it. Burp it good. It should quieten down and be smooth after that.
I put a power sector on a buddy's 1 ton car hauler one time and he almost ran off the road on the way home. He was so used to having to muscle that truck around. It was funny.
