Need a super big favor
I have a big favor to ask.
The situation: My rear glass regulator won't stay in the window sash pockets because i do not have the rollers or pins that allow the regulator arms to sit in the window sash. The solution: I just purchased the nylon rollers and pins that attach to the regulator arms and allow them to sit (and stay) in the window sash from LMC. My question: Could someone remove the cover of on your Blazer tailgate and take a couple of pictures of the end of your regulator arm? I would specifically like to see the nylon wheel at the end and how it connects to the regulator. Any help is appreciated. This item I'm looking for images of is item number 16 on the LMC page attached. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/csb/full.aspx?Page=31 Last edited by mpierce9; 01-28-2015 at 09:33 PM. |

Re: Need a super big favor
your best bet is to replace the whole regulaot. I tried on my suburban to change the rollers and the pins also. the pins need to be rolled and squashed. they are harder than heck. you can still get the gm regulators. I think I paid 125 for mine.

Re: Need a super big favor
I think I also need to replace mine too. Last time I looks (last month) I think they are riveted onto the arm. So you probably have to come up with a bolt/nut fix to get it on there and also be cautious of binding/scratching window. I was going to try it but have a hard time buying $10 in parts and probably $10 to ship?!? Don't know...

Re: Need a super big favor
they are riveted. but they are not a pop rivet. the rivet that is used is a special rivet. they need to be pinned over.

Re: Need a super big favor
Came up with a home made solution with a short carriage bolt and a stop nut. Added some plastic washers to keep things from rattling.
