You may also be using the storage bag bag. Those only work on non truck trucks.

I had that problem also, you have to install the other end first. it only goes on one way....

It worked for my by starting with the balancer and stretching over the entire engine from there! Haha that's pretty funny

youre supposed to put the engine in and THEN apply heat to shrink the bag.
