bucket seat brackets
does anyone know where I can find replacement brackets and seat slides for buckets seats in a 78 suburban. I have the bench and want to put in buckets in the front. thanks

Your best bet is to search for a K5 Blazer being parted out with bucket seats.....

Hit the junkyards and look for a Suburban with bucket seats. You may have better luck locating an later model Burb (88'-91'). Or if all the starts are aligned, you may find that "needle in the haystack regular cab truck with factory equipped bucket seats. Here is a picture of a seat that my dad and I pulled out of a 78' GMC High Sierra complete with the ever elusive truck brackets

It seems the seats are the same but the way the bases bolt up are different.
you may have to drill holes to swap the bases,I did I'm using 89 burb buckets in a 78 Jimmy. finding the inside factory floor brace is hard too

i think what im going to do is get a 60 40 setup out of a 96-2000 truck front and rear and just use the factory slides and build a frame for them. thanks anyhow guys.
