C10 Suspension Lift
My springs are pretty much shot on my C10 so they need replaced. I like the look of the truck sitting up a bit higher.
What options are out there to lift my truck 2 - 3"? Are there taller coil replacements out there? I don't want to compromise the suspension or steering geometry angles. Nor do I want to stiffen the ride feel. Hoping for a new set of taller coils and extended shocks. Thanks in advance!

Re: C10 Suspension Lift
New springs would lift it some. In an old Ford I had I put big block springs in mine to get some tire clearance. Not sure if that would work here maybe someone else will chime in.

Re: C10 Suspension Lift
Here is an old thread that has some links as well.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=563288 Taller ride height springs need to be stiffer to have a similar free height than stock. Even stock replacements are probably going seem harsher.

Re: C10 Suspension Lift
Found a place that makes custom height springs to factory ratings, I believe its coilsprings.com.
I received a quote for +2" springs for $200 a pair. My question is would I have to change out any other suspension component (shocks, tie rods, etc) or make any modifications to get these springs installed? I would imagine it would be difficult due to the additional 2" of compression to install. TIA!

Re: C10 Suspension Lift
Still looking into this.
Would I have to modify anything going 2" higher springs? For example, would I have to replace the driveshaft, radiator mod to accomodate higher stance, other suspension components that need to be replaced to accomodate higher stance? Thanks in advance!
