Build on the forum on CL

This isn't mine but I was suprised to see it built on here then pop up on Houston Craigs. Looks like the build was 2013 so it's pretty new. Hope it goes to a good home.

Re: Build on the forum on CL

It was on ebay on only reached $8300 with reserve not met. I think the way the hood fits might be scaring the bidders off.

Re: Build on the forum on CL

While I can appreciate the work put into it, it's not my cup of tea. Somebody is going to have to really be into it and love the way it looks to fork out that kind of cash. I'd turn around and sell it if it was given to me.

I agree. That's the first thing I noticed too. They should have fixed that if they want top dollar for that rig.

I guess with the economy the way it is currently, $24k to $26k is what we are seeing on some nice toys. It is unfortunate as I just started my Blazer build.

Re: Build on the forum on CL

$26g is a good price for that. Nice build, but no tach with such nice gauges! It's not airbag'd just lowered and made into a roadster so not road worthy year round in most states, so limited buyers due to that alone. Not sure if it was a vin/title matching original 2wd or not, but the prices of $30g+ on any of these old trucks is hard to reach unless perfect and the right buyer is looking/watching for it. Building one from scratch and you'll hardly get the money back if you include labour time unless you can quickly slap something together all yourself of course. Look at this deal right here on a restore swb. Quite a few decent deals went through BJ, and some which were crazy high.
