Steering Column ?

Hey every body, it;s another newbie, Im putting 1 1948 GMC truck body on a 1985 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 rolling chassis, the cab is mounted and theres a Old's 350 Rocket motor in place,,, whats the best thing to use to steer this thing, it;s going to have a floor shift auto trans cause Im missing both legs below the knee,, any info would help as far as what year and make of steering column would work best,, it does have power steering, thanks.

Welcome,
A close friend has been in a chair 30yrs....He has a 53 Chevy car but his steering column is out of a early 70''s Nova. The universal type hand controls had bracketry for the stock Nova that worked in his car. I would think a more specific column application would be needed for the controls... can you use the 85 steering column ?
