Im looking at getting a set of grey Boss 338s for my 1986 c10 and was wondering if anyone has them on thiers? i want to fit the widest wheel/tire under the back without tubbing and messing with the frame. ive heard 10in with a 5in bs works. any thoughts?

Re: Wheel decisions

I used to have the 338 10's with 5.5" backspacing on the rear of the 76 and they fit great... Not so sure about 5".
Depending on if & how much you are lowered will play into what backspacing you can get away with too.

In fact I used the same backspacing when I ordered my billets. (5.25" bs on 8.5" in front & 5.5" bs on 10" in rear)

Re: Wheel decisions

My advise would be go with 5.5... but others may chime in with their experience....

Again for reference both sets of these are 5.25" bs on 8.5" in front & 5.5" bs on 10" in rear

Do you not feel the rear is tucked in a little too much? I let someone try my Eagle 225s on his c10 and that's how they looked to me. I was thinking of either ordering 20x12 with a 5.5 or 20x11 with a 4.5 BS.

I think they match up great with the bs I am running in the front.
But that's my opinion.

Tried to find a couple different angles...
