Jag ifs swap pictures.55.2

I did a search on here and also google. I found a few pictures on here of the swap a bunch on The H.A.M.B. More specifically what I am looking for is someone who has done the swap with pictures. I have a chance to get a complete 79 front end reasonably priced. I saw one where they had to notch the top rail. Are the control arms to close together to avoid this?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks Mike

Start on page 7 in this thread. He has some decent pics of the swap.

Re: Jag ifs swap pictures.55.2

Rockingknees put in a lot of really solid suggestions in that thread.

One of which is set your truck up (block it up at the desired static ride height you plan to have when done and set the cross members up at the height they were originally at in the donor rig. I've seen a lot of guys miss that detail over the years and end up with a rig that doesn't sit where they want it to.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Thanks Mr 48. If it ever stops snowing I will be going to look at and hopefully buy a complete 79 Jag front end.
