Re: WTB..I6 Fan Shroud

Is it different from the metal top shield that was used on the 6 cyl, 3 speed trucks? I have a couple from the 6 cyl. stick trucks.

Re: WTB..I6 Fan Shroud

Most 6cyl had the small metal fan "guard", but some HD models had a fan shroud like the SBs. I have run the SB shroud by installing the wider V8 radiator & mounts...then just bolt in the SB shroud. Make sense?

The I6 automatic trucks all have a fan shroud and use the 28 1/2 wide radiator. Your upper covers would be stock on a stick truck.

Yeah that would work but the sbc non AC shroud (5.250 deep) is 1" deeper than the 6 cylinder which is 4.250 deep. The problem I see here is the fan would be to far into the shroud. To be ideal the fan blade should be half in and half out of the shroud. Maybe a shorter spacer would make this combo work best.
I'm not using it for a I6 application.
I have what I'm looking for but I need another. I'll post some pics if it soon.

Thanks, Tom
